Got a Case of "Facebook Fatigue"?

From Holly Ashworth, About.com Guide   July 10, 2010

See More About:
According to a new study, teens are using Facebook less and less these days. About 1 in 5 teens with a Facebook account don't even log in anymore.

Most of them have found other sites they like better, or they've plain old lost interest in Facebook. I wonder why. For me, it's still my #1 way of seeing what all my friends (and my mom, and my frenemies) are up to. But then again, I'm an old lady.

Share what your relationship with Facebook is like - and what sites you've found that are even better - in the comments section.

They get bored with Facebook real fast. It’s adults that use Facebook more, and my 13 year old prefers MySpace. She also spends less time on Facebook because she found out she could earn stuff (money, gift certs, etc.) taking surveys online — for real. Every teen wants to get stuff and know their opinion means something!

I like myspace better, because all my relatives are the ones looking at my facebook, and you cant exactly rant about how your mom annoys you when your aunt can read it and get her nose in it too! Myspace is more for teens && friends while facebook is family

I still use facebook a lot, and hardly any of my friends use myspace. There are a lot of adults on facebook, and many of my family members are on it too, but it’s still a great way to stay in touch with friends. Besides, my family doesn’t really bother me that much.
