Kill yourself? That’s a damn shame. Don’t bother with that...I have been there before. It’s worth it to go through hell on earth... than hell in a hospital.
Clor (BRADMADIUK)

I’ve learned that smoking crack or getting into drugs really changes a person's mind and they really just don't care anymore, about anything. They change into completely different people. I don't know how bad your friends are, how much into crack they've gotten, but one of my ex-friends got his own girlfriend addicted to it just so she could support his habit. It’s all they care about, is getting more. It’s really sad to see people go this way, especially people you care about.
Lindsay (LJBUTTERCUP)

Well... I think that if you weren't going to be responsible for the possible outcome of you having sex (baby) then you shouldn't have done it. Abortion is hard on the woman... it's terribly emotionally traumatic and for you to know this and STILL wanna put her through that makes me feel sorry for her.
Angelwyngs

On a personal note I get so angry when I hear of girls staying with boyfriends simply because 'he's the dad'... sperm does not a father make.
Satai Trigati (SATAITRIGATI)

You're 14 and having unprotected sex?!?!!? What in the f**k is going on your head? Didn’t your teachers, parents... anyone tell you about the risk you’re taking??? BABIES ARE FOREVER. F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!! They don’t go away. They are for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. And you’re only 14. You can’t drive your baby to the doctor; you can’t even drive yourself to the doctor. Use your head next time and wear a condom. There are diseases out there - they are EVERYWHERE. Not just a story on TV. It happens to the nicest, prettiest, sweetest of people. Don’t be so stupid.

A wise agnostic friend of mine once said that she doesn't know what happens after death but that she strongly feels that the manner of our death and the way people mourn us plays a role.
Mike Hardcastle (AB_TNADVICE)

That's how destructive expecting yourself to be perfect can be. I realized that the only thing that ever matters is that you like yourself and know that there is nothing wrong with you or your flaws.
KEYLESS

Just be who you are and people will like you. Trust me. It works. The people who are themselves and don't care what anybody thinks about them are the ones that everyone wants to be around. People want to be around people who are themselves.
WATSON81

(In response to a post about a friend with an eating disorder)
If you're comfortable with her not liking you for awhile, what you can do is say you'll give her X amount of days to tell her parents herself, and if she hasn't by then, either you tell her parents or find someone else who could. And believe me, her parents aren't just gonna disregard you. They may not believe you at first, but after you've told them they'll probably at least be watchful of her eating habits and realize that what you said could be true.
