Do NOT put nail polish remover on your face, I cannot think of anything that will burn and irritate the skin more. The reason we do not pick at our zits is because it will take two to three times as long to heal. I truely believe in covering up your blemish so you don't think about it and I promise it will go away sooner. |

We all know that cigarettes do one thing, cause cancer. So it would be really stupid to smoke but as far as beauty, nothing robs your beauty more than cigarettes. It makes your skin ashy, it gives you dark circles, it gives you lines around your mouth and it makes you smell yucky. Now why would anyone think about smoking?? |

Sunscreen is always important, of course more in the summer or in warmer climates. The sun does come out in the winter. It's not a bad habit to wear sunscreen daily. You can always buy a moisturizer with sunscreen built in. |

How can you tell what your skin type is? |

If you can't tell what type of skin you have, I bet you your skin is normal. If your skin is either dry or oily, trust me, you'll know it. |

What is combinaton skin? |

Combination skin is when your forehead, nose and skin are oily and your cheeks are dry. The best way to treat combination skin is to use moisturizer only on the dry parts. And don't forget to use oil control lotion or powder on the oily parts. |

Makeup is not meant to last all day. I find that long lasting lipsticks might last for four or five hours, but look dry and cakey the whole time. You can keep makeup on longer by using powder or water resistant formulas. But things like lipgloss or lipstick really only last an hour to two. |
