Welcome to Teen Advice Chat! The chat room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Feel free to come by the chat room to talk about anything that you need to get off your chest. This is an open, unsupervised room, but I will be by on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 pm EST to chat and answer questions.

Because this room is not supervised there are some important rules that you should know about. Use of this room is by the honor system, meaning you are trusted to follow the rules even when there is not a chat host. If you are 13 or under you must get your parents permission to join in the Teen Advice Chat.

THE RULES:

1. No picking fights with other chatters.
2. No saying something just to "get a rise" out of others.
3. No racist, sexist or threatening comments.
4. No using this chat room to reveal personal information about other people or to spread nasty rumours.
5. No judging others - we all have things we aren't proud of in our lives - this room is about support, not judgement.
6. Watch your language, swearing too much is not very cool.
7. Be friendly and inviting to new comers, try to avoid creating cyber cliques.
