Topic: Being Different

It's kind of weird that everyone wants to be included, accepted, and fit into the best group. In my school there are many groups like rockers, rappers, the weird kids, and then the popular ones. Although the groups are different we all have something in common, we all want to be the same. Media helps a lot on that; they tell us what to wear, what music to listen to, what food to eat, which celebrities to admire... in a sense they tell us who to be. I don't like it when everyone thinks, feels, and act the same, we are all unique and individual people so why should we try to be the same? God created us different and I believe we must stay like that. The good thing about being different is that you have your own mind and the ability to form your own thoughts and choose your actions - thats the beauty of life, being different. I always tell my friends, "be a leader not a follower!"
