How Did the Breakup Go Down?
He called me on the phone. We'd broken up twice during the 3 months before he said it was over and we could go back to being friends. I started crying on the phone. He said he was sorry and he didn't want it to end. Then 2 weeks later he came over and asked for another chance. I told him no. I felt strong and like I did the right thing.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
I ate chocolate, I cried and talked to some of my friends about it.
I went back to school and started liking other guys, realizing that I didn't need him. We'd broken up twice before, it wasn't that hard to deal with. I still felt sad though. I'm friends with him now. Things aren't back to normal yet, I'm still somewhat sad, but things are getting better. I feel pretty because other guys like me. You have to realize there can be more than guy out there for you.
Lessons Learned
- I would have not taken him back a third time.
- I should have stopped trying to be with him after the first breakup.
- We were better as just friends and it should have stayed that way.
- He was too old for me.
