How Did the Breakup Go Down?
For the past couple months he was acting weird. I had suspicions that he lost feelings for me, but every time I asked him he denied it. I tried to make things back to how it was when we first started dating, we both loved each other, & had fun. But the way I tried to make things better made things worse. One day my best friend said that he told my friend he liked my best friend. I was very angry & didn't believe it but I txted him an angry txt asking if it was true. He txted me back saying he was tired of all this crap, couldn't believe that I would think he would do that & said he couldn't deal with it anymore & it was over.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
It will be one month since he broke up with me tomorrow and I am nowhere near over him. I still cry every day about him because he kinda likes my one extremely close friend and she has liked him since May. Every day I find out something new that I never thought would have happened. When we were together I was so happy and one day I thought "what would be the worse thing that could happen to me right now." and I thought of him breaking up with me, saying he lost feelings for me months ago, and he liked one of my close friends that liked him back and now all of that is coming true. I know they won't date cuz of many reasons (long story) but it still hurts knowing that he likes her and she likes him back.
Lessons Learned
- If there are signs he has lost feelings for you it might be true, don't ask rudely but still ask. If he denies but there are still signs he doesn't love you like he use to confront him about what is wrong & accept it if he has lost feelings for you.
- Treat the guy you are involved with like you did when you had a crush on him.If he asked you out then he wants the girl he knows and had a crush on so don't change yourself.
- I would have stopped asking him so many questions that I knew were pushing him away.
- I would have made the relationship more fun for the both of us and made him happy just like I always wanted to
