How Did the Breakup Go Down?
It was just horrible, and reading these break up stores helped me realize that it's time to share my story which I've been avoiding for eight months. He broke up with me because his friends and family disapproved of me. He told me how he would love me forever (and we were engaged by the way), and I would be his everlasting Juliette. He was my EVERYTHING, MY SOULMATE, MY LOVE OF MY LIFE. So, we had the most messiest sever! He called me one night that we were supposed to go for supper, instead he told me that he couldn't see me anymore. JUST LIKE THAT, AND IT WAS THE END OF MY WORLD - more to it obviously:(
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
I didn't get over it, I am still NOT OVER it after eight months which is sad to say. Frankly, it's very hard getting over someone you love so much. We are still friends which doesn't help, I just can't let him go 100% because I miss what we had ALL THE TIME. We are friends with benefits basically now, and it's very hard. Truth is that I had my mom, my guy friends who are trying so hard to help me out of this. But, I never tell them 100% what I am going through because I feel so alone, and no one understands.. Everything reminds me of him, and we are in contact often. If you want to get over someone, I think you need to cut all ties and wait for that someone special. But I can't tell you that straight from my heart as I don't believe that as I still love him, and want him back...
Lessons Learned
- It's okay to CRY A LOT
- It will take tons and tons of time.
- Don't listen to people who tell you that you are beautiful, and blah, blah and just get over them. It is NOT that simple.
- Have a friend who you can call to cry with
- Try to go out and have fun even if it's for a few hours.
- It's okay to feel depressed, and heartbroken.
- But remember that fate has its own plans, and hopefully you won't remain so heartbroken forever.
- I only hope that fate will heal me, and do the same for me.
- I am sorry that I don't have the answers, but it helps to cry and take YOUR OWN TIME TO HEAL AND LOVE AGAIN
