How Did the Breakup Go Down?
Well, I was 13 and he was my first boyfriend...and the biggest reason he broke up with me was because we were a shy couple (a couple who hardly hangs around with each other, talks, hugs, or kisses)...I THINK....and he told me IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK OUT. I didn't have the courage to ask him why, so once a week I think and I wonder...I guess that answer won't come.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
I got over the break-up by hanging out with friends and with this other guy I liked...and getting focused on other things I loved to do...stuff I had a passion for. And I got the idea that I don't need him. Once in a while I think of him...I don't cry no more 'cause I know that's useless. He ain't coming back and it's better that way.
Lessons Learned
- Being a shy couple is worthless...you got to learn how to speak up.
- Love blinds you, 'cause now that I'm not with him I can see what was I missing on.
