How Did the Breakup Go Down?
I got my friend to tell him because I only see him on weekends, whenever we barrel race. And now I'm hurt because we were thinking about going back out, and he called me up on Saturday night and told me that he had a girlfriend. He said that I said I wanted him to find someone else so I can be happy. I do remember saying that, but it was a long time ago and I haven't said it recently, and he knows I love him. I just don't know what to do... I probably won't see him for a while cause he probably isn't going to come to the barrel races...so I don't know how to get him back.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
I just don't think about it. I go out with friends and have a good time. I don't worry about it, I just tell myself he will be back if he really loves me. I tell myself every day that if you love him set him free, and if he comes back then he was always yours to keep.
Lessons Learned
- I've learned don't break up with someone you love for someone you like, because you will wind up wanting the person you love back, and it may be too late for you.
