How Did the Breakup Go Down?
He called me after a perfectly normal day at school and was like, "this dating thing isn't working," and I was like, "yeah, we never talk and if you feel that way, we might as well." There was a long silence and then he said, "I'll see you around" and hung up. It was a planned dump, so I was on speaker and his friends were there. He then texted me asking if I was mad at him and that he was sorry a million times, and he told people his friends made him do it.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
I'm still not over him. It's that first love feeling where you like other people, but you still miss him. It's been over a year now and it's getting easier, but it's still hard not to go and see his pictures on facebook and stuff.
Lessons Learned
- I'd give him more space.
- I would try and communicate off the Internet or cell better.
- I wouldn't feel shy around him in person.
