How Did the Breakup Go Down?
Well, I was on my way to the basketball court at my school on Monday morning when my friend Oso ran up to me. I turned and greeted him with a normal "hey."
Next thing I know I'm being pushed towards my boyfriend on the basketball court. I yank free of Oso's grasp and ask what was going on. Oso turned to my boyfriend and said, "I can't do it for you man, she's my friend!" I turn to my boyfriend with a weird look, and in front of all his and my friends said, "I don't love you anymore. I found someone better so....bye." I died completely on the inside, then ran to the girl's bathroom to throw up.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
Well, it took me about three months to get over the breakup. I was clinically depressed and hated anything that reminded me of him, which was everything! I began to cut myself and cut my hair to a boy's length because I thought I should look how I feel. Finally my friends told me it was time to get over him, so they put me in the auditions for my school play to meet new people and hang out more. After months of play rehearsals and our glorious performance, I realized I had forgotten about him along time ago!
Lessons Learned
- I would have changed how I acted which was very immature.
- I would suggest more activities to your schedule right after the breakup happens, but still to let how you feel show a bit so they aren't bottled up.
