How Did the Breakup Go Down?
We had a long distance relationship. He lived in indiana and I lived in Pennsylvania. We met over the summer when I went there to see a friend of the family. We hit it off so good. I came back to PA at the end of the summer, and we talked every night on the phone for nine months. I thought I loved him. But we couldn't take not being able to see each other. And we grew apart. We were on the phone and he said that we had grown apart and he was like, I don't like not seeing you, so it's over. My heart just broke right then and there.
How Did You Get Over the Breakup?
It took over 2 or 3 months for me to stop crying and get him off my mind. I couldn't date anyone else for like 5 or 6 months. It was the worst break up ever. To this day, I still think about him. And it's been 9 months since we broke up. But he was right, we did grow apart. But I still love him.
Lessons Learned
- Don't date people out of state.
- Don't fall so hard if they aren't going to be there.
- Don't love so young.
