How Did it Happen?
I had gone over to his house. Our parents met and talked. After my parents left, his mom went to go find Uno cards. I was sitting on a chair in the living room playing with Kitty (his dog). He was sitting on the arm of the chair.
I remember feeling his finger under my chin to turn my head toward him. I don't remember turning to look at him, but I know I looked into his eyes for a short second. Then I don't remember closing my eyes or tipping my head or leaning in, but I know I did. I remember feeling his soft lips on mine.
The thing is, I was expecting a short kiss, while he was expecting a longer one. So I closed it off, but I didn't pull away. That's why it was awkward. Because we still kissed after I "finished" I guess you would say. I'm not sure how long it lasted. Time just seemed to stand still. I also don't remember pulling back.
He said something along the lines of "so u wanted the short one, not long didn't you" later on, and I replied really shyly with a "yeah."
After that we played Uno with his mom. Then we watched the A-Team in front of his couch with popcorn and Pepsi's while cuddling. And I really didn't want to leave when my dad came to pick me up.
That was three days ago. Now we are on Christmas break and I won't see him for 2 weeks. =(
Advice
- If I could do that over, I would not have stopped kissing him as soon as I did and savored the moment.
- My advice to you is live in the moment; don't make it end to quickly, because you will regret it. Try to make it last as long as possible.
