How Did it Happen?
We've been crushing on each other for about 3 and half months. He was always telling his friends how he's gonna ask me out, but he didn't...YET. He didn't wanna ask me out at school so he was always asking me when I could hang out after school.
Not very many of my friends like him because he is two years older than me and he's known as a "player"... but I as soon as I met him, I wanted to be the one who could change that. I wanted to be the one he loved for a really long time.
Anyways, we were hanging out after school one day and he asked if we could go outside. It was a really nice day - not too hot, not too cold. We started talking about random stuff, and then he asked me out. He's the type of person who rushes things while I like to take them slow. I said, "I don't wanna rush anything, but I do really like you." "Well I can't wait any longer, I just want to be with you," he says. "Wouldn't you rather take it slow and enjoy it for longer?" We looked at each other for a while and then he leaned in. We were right against a wall, so he kind of pushed me back, gently, so my back was leaning against the wall. We started kissing and it was really passionate! I'm so glad my first kiss turned out to be a good one!
Advice
- You shouldn't rush anything; make sure you are both ready.
- Don't plan it! Just let things fall into place.
- If you don't feel it's the right moment, don't do it. If you're really meant to be with each other, there will be lots of special moments.
- Do what feels comfortable for you, not what the other wants.
- Make sure you make the moment special. There's always going to be something you regret, but until then you want to make sure you really lived in the moment!
