What Kind of Kiss was It?

Who and Where?
He was just my friend that I had a major crush on. He knew I liked him and I knew he liked me, however we never told our "clique". It took place after a dance.
How Did it Happen?
I went to a dance alone and meet up with my girl friends. They all had boyfriends and I was kind of embarrassed that I hadn't had one yet. Well, one of my guy friends, I had a major crush on since I was 12. So I eventually gained a love for him over 4 years. He was at the dance with his guy friends, he didn't have a girlfriend and he had waltzed on over to me. Almost like a fairytale, he looked into my eyes, saying nothing, and leaned in for the kiss. He had definetly swept me off my feet. It took about 10 seconds long! After it ended we both opened our eyes and he had told me how he had loved me for a long awhile, he had also asked to be his girlfriend.
Advice
- I would have told him directly that I liked him long before the kiss. I always told him indirectly, and he told me that he would have rather me say to his face.
- I would have also tried open mouth because of how long the kiss was.
- Hopefully, if I had the guts, I would have kissed him myself
