Who and Where?
It was with my boyfriend, in school, but it was like an hour after most everyone had left.
How Did it Happen?
We have been going out for almost a week, but we have been best friends for 8 months. A few days before the kiss, I asked him if he thought us kissing would be ok or if we should wait a while. He admitted that he'd wanted to for a while, but it was his first kiss (it actually wasn't mine, the kiss before was with another guy last year but there were no sparks or anything so I like to think as this as my first kiss) and so I agreed to do it the way he wanted to, whenever that may be. A few days later, all of our friends were staying after school for theater club, and the boys had to leave to practice for a soccer game later that day. I took his hand and led him out to the second building of our highschool, where he's supposed to get ready. One of my friends follows us. When it's time to leave, I embraced him and tell him I love him. We both stare at my friend until she realizes that she should probably leave us alone.
We stare at each other, and we both rest our foreheads on the other. "I dont think I want to wait any longer," he whispers. "me neither," I say, and I close my eyes. Our lips softly brush against one another, for probably three seconds. I could feel him smiling.
After kissing him on the cheek and hugging again, he's gone.
I stood there for a moment, recollected my thoughts. And then I burst out the building to find my friends. One of them, who was waiting to ambush me after we told her to leave, burst out of the bushes and screamed "did you kiss him??!??" I squeal "YES!!!" and we skip off to the theater, happier than ever.
Advice
- * don't plan it, just do it. I spent hours upon hours going through the Internet and magazines for things that would help me with my first kiss. I was afraid I'd do everything wrong. But when the time came, I didn't think about any of that. I can't even remember where I put my arms or which way I tilted my head. It just all comes naturally!
- there are pros and cons for having a first kiss on a Friday: 1. It's good cause you get the whole weekend to think about it and be prepared for whatever happens on Monday. 2. It's bad cause now u gotta wait til mon. 2 do it again :(
