One of my guy friends, at the park in the woods.
How Did it Happen?
I was sitting on the park bench alone, texting my friends, when he came up behind me and scared me so bad I dropped my phone. He laughed and I hit him on the shoulder when he sat down beside me. We talked and seemed to be flirting here and there and agreed to walk around in the woods for a while. He led for about 15 minutes and then we switched off and on for about an hour until we got tired of walking around. I sat down on a bridge while he sat next to me. I was quiet and he asked me if something was wrong, I replied that I was just thinking. He asked sarcastically if I was thinking about that special person (I always had feelings for him but I thought a guy like him would never feel the same way). I said, "why do I have to think when I'm sitting right beside him?" and smiled. He got a blank look on his face and turned away. I said I was sorry for making things awkward and was about to get up when he pulled me back down and said, "no need to be sorry," and kissed me. I asked him why he did that. He replied that he did feel the same way but just never showed it before. We smiled and looked into each other's eyes and kissed again, this time with more passion. It was like a short make-out session but nothing too serious. We walked back to the park bench we were sitting on before and talked more. He put his arm around me while I put my head on his shoulder. I then got a text from my mom saying she wanted me home for dinner in 15 minutes. He read the message over my shoulder and said he wished I didn't have to go so soon. I smiled up at him and kissed him. It lasted for about 30 seconds. That is a day that I will never forget for the rest of my life.
