What Kind of Kiss was It?
It was short and quick, like 3 seconds.
Who and Where?
My friend from the school play who I had a crush on for a while. He was in 8th grade and I in 7th but it was cool. We kissed under a sweatshirt that was over our heads with our faces in between the seats of a charter bus coming home from a band trip.
How Did it Happen?
On the bus the lights had gone out (and we were in the back of the bus, you know how that goes ;) so everyone started playing spin the bottle, dare or dare, etc. Spin the bottle and the dares only included stuff like, kiss on the cheek, sitting on laps, arms around shoulders and stuff. My guy friend kissed me on the cheek about 5 times. It was pretty sweet seeing that I had never gone farther than hugging. The guys (mostly 8th graders) were getting bored but the thing was that most of the girls (all 7th graders) had never kissed a guy before. My guy friend suggested we move to mouth and I didn't hear so I asked my friend to dare me. She said, "I dare you and (guy friend's name here) to kiss on the mouth!"
Everyone around us were now ooo-ing and awww-ing. He decided he didn't have any problem with it and I was indecisive, but in the end I decided I was fine with it.
Our faces kept getting really close almost nose to nose when someone would be staring or such. Then the lights went on and stayed on. We put our heads in between the seats and again kept getting close when someone would pull off the sweatshirt or such. Then we both leaned in and inched forward and it took forever but our lips touched for about 3 seconds, then we pulled away. It was in slo-mo but really romantic and sweet and it made me so happy.
After that he moved up to sit next to me and we talked forever and sat really close. And the funny thing is... I think that even though he was acting all cool and experienced that was probably his first kiss too.
Advice
- I just wish that he had asked me out at the end but he still could so...
