What Kind of Kiss was It?

Who and Where?
This really popular guy who I knew from dancing lessons at a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade dance in a gym in the last 10 minutes.
How Did it Happen?
Me and my friend had a pact that we had to kiss a boy before we left at 6th grade. It had to be at this dance because it was the last time my entire grade would be together and the last time I would see my guy friends (I go to an all girls school.) Throughout the last half hour, I was running around asking my guy friends 2 kiss me! I was 5'7" so, yeah, I was the awkward tall one that boys had crushes on but always ended up a prettier girl at another school, that girl. Anyways, finally in the last 10 minutes, a posse of guys came up to me and the most popular guy just got in front of me and was like, "I'll kiss you!" So, I guess you could say I lucked out. As in, no awkward pausing and thinking about it. I stood there like an idiot for a couple seconds and then just leaned in (and down, haha) and planted a 1 second, totally not-what-I-expected KISS! and then I proceeded to sprint away like an idiot (typical me.) Actually if you must know: We are dating at the moment! it's one year after that kiss! I ACTUALLY HAVE BOOBS! and it was another party and we started grinding and then kissed again, this time, it was better. (and I didn't have to lean down anymore)
Advice
- Don't rush! Look, you know it's going to happen when it's about to happen so think about it and how you might tell this to your kids some day (I sure won't!)
- No tongue on the VERY first kiss. But once you start hooking up at dances do what you want with the guy. (That was a joke, don't scare the man)
- Don't tell your parents. They DON'T NEED TO KNOW!
- Talk about it with your friends, and make sure you tell them exactly what happened. Once you do it, you'll know why. (Word gets around what you say and if you lie, it will come back around.)
