How Did it Happen?
We both liked each other for a long time and would spend a lot of time together, but neither of us ever came out to the other about how we felt. So while waiting for our parents to pick us up after school he was playing with my hands, and we were staring at each other, and laughing a lot, he was much taller than I was so I was looking up at him and he was looking at me and somehow the distance between us disappeared and he was very very close to me. I was never so nervous in my entire life, my heart stopped as he got closer, I could hardly breathe and I felt like melting, I licked my lips so they would not be dry. His lips were soft and there was no tongue, it was amazing, like one of those moments you wish would go on forever. He put his arms around me and pulled me closer, it was the most perfect kiss ever, no other kiss has ever compared. We never kissed after that, we never said how we really felt about each other, we left school and we were still too afraid to tell each other how we really felt. I met him after 11 years. I was married with a daughter and he was married with a daughter, our feelings never changed, but we still could not be together, but we managed this time to let each other know how we felt back then and how we would always feel about each other.
