Who and Where?
In the middle of my 7th grade year, a new super cute boy switched into my chorus class and I instantly liked him. We got talking over a while, and I planned to ask him to be my boyfriend before a certain date (my birthday!) or I feared I wouldn't ask him out if I didn't set a goal, haha. So I'd been talking to him on the phone a lot and one time I got the courage to ask him out. He said YES and we were both soo happy <3 Sooo... we dated for like a month and decided we wanted to kiss. We then planned our kiss on Valentine's Day where we'd meet in the park near our middle school and exchange V-day presents (kiss included)!
How Did it Happen?
On Valentine's Day, I met him at the park like planned. We decided to walk to a more private place and so went into his neighborhood, which the park was in. In someone's driveway, we stopped and put down our bikes and got our presents out. He gave me a webkinz (haha :), a football jersey with his number on it<3 (It even smelled like him ;) and some chocolates, and I gave him a cake I'd baked and a CD with songs on it I wrote about him and recorded me singing! We then closed in and put down our presents. We both knew what was going to happen and were nervous (I personally had made sure to bring all the essentials to school that day I'd thought I'd need - chapstick, mints, a toothbrush, etc. but didn't really use them). We then hugged gently and lovingly and pulled out slightly and "it" happened. It was probably the shortest peck known to man but it sure was magical. His lips felt soft and the whole thing was so natural and perfect. We then rode our bikes home and said goodbye until the next day.
Advice
- I wish I had kissed him more. Our relationship didn't last as long as I'd wanted and in the end we only kissed twice (the 2nd was another peck on his sofa watching Harry Potter, when Cho and Harry kissed). But luckily I think he still likes me (I like him!!!) and he's coming to my high school next year!!!
- Always kiss in private. Its way more romantic, plus I think PDAs are nasssttyyy.
- I also wished we'd stopped on the bike ride home to this little gazebo where it would have been fun to maybe kiss some more!
- Always try to make relationships last because without him, I realize how much I miss & still love him.
