The summer after my 8th grade year!
What Did It Feel Like?
We started hanging out over summer, and everything seemed to fall into place. Spending every second of the day with him, only to find myself longing to be with him once we parted. I still can't keep a smile off of my face when I'm around him. Everything is right in the world when I'm with him, and I just can't wait to be with him forever and ever! He's the most important thing in my life and I don't think life will ever be the same without him. He's that light that keeps me going, he's my reason to smile at night, he's my everything and I can't find one single flaw in him.
What Happened Next?
At first it was a secret thing. We had always been known by others as very good friends, and we weren't ready for the world to know. But when High School began, it came out. We'd spent so much time together over the summer, I was afraid it was going to turn out to only be a summer love. But I was rejoiced when we continued our love through 9th grade, then 10th, then 11th, and here we still are today! He means the world to me! We love with a love I've never known before. We've talked about our future together, and our plans to get married, and have a family, and love forever. I honestly believe that if we had to live in the back of our car, I'd be happy, just as long as he's in the seat next to me. He is the most sweetest boy I've ever met, he's hilarious and keeps me smiling, he's got the most amazing smile, the cutest dimples, the most gorgeous eyes, a wonderful body, and he loves me! I wouldn't trade him for anything and I can't find one flaw with him, I wouldn't change anything about him. He's absolutely perfect in every way! I love him with all of my heart and we've promised each other forever and a day!
Lessons Learned
- When it feels that right, don't give up on it!
- Keep a balance between your partner and your friends.
- Only, ONLY, move your relationship forward (sex) if you're sure you're ready and your partner is the one.
