She broke his heart so we got really close and eventually started dating.
What Did It Feel Like?
It feels like the butterflies you get right before a big performance or the sensation you get if you miss a step going down stairs...but even better it feels like him kissing you when you least expect it or coming up behind you and hugging you while he whispers about how beautiful you are :) it's amazing!
What Happened Next?
Well we met at band camp the summer before eight grade. He's a drummer and I play the flute. (I'm also a majorette!!) Looking back a year later I see that we were both really shy and that's why we never talked to each other much (we did catch each other staring quite a bit!)...until he started dating one of my best friends. Now they were ok together and we got close because of it but he always flirted with me. I know that sounds bad but it's the truth. And I didn't mind not one bit because deep down I'd liked him all along. And when she came to me and wanted advice (cause that's what I'm really good at..) on how to keep him I helped her out. But I was very very upset when I found out she'd just wanted to keep him til she knew this other guy would date her. I couldn't believe I'd helped her break his heart!! I promised I'd always be there for him and a few months later he asked me out...I love that day and I love him. I guess he was always ment to be mine. :)
Lessons Learned
- Always tell them or someone else may make that first move!
- Don't be shy! If you like them you like them and one day it may lead to more.
- Be patient if someone does get with them first. It's hard but just be there for them. If it's ment to be they'll be ours one day.
- Once ya get em don't let em go!! Be good to your love and they'll be good to you!! :)
