What Did It Feel Like?
It felt weird, because he was one of my best friends. Every time I saw him, I couldn't breathe, I went shy around him and got butterflies. I never stopped thinking about him.
What Happened Next?
One night I decided to tell him how he felt. I did it through text, and it was 7 messages long. He sent me a text back, saying thank you. I was like, nice one mate. He said that he would like to go out with me but he thinks he can't because he doesn't want to lose our friendship. I understood that, but then he kept sending me text messages saying 'na'night beautiful' I was confused and upset. And still am. He also said to my best friend, who is also his sister, that after he broke up with his girlfriend around Christmas, he wanted to go out with me, he said that after he broke up with his other girlfriend afterwards too. He also said that if he cheated on his current girlfriend with me, he wouldn't regret it. I still don't know what to do. I want to forget about him, but it hurts too much to let him out of my heart.
Lessons Learned
- Don't tell one of your closest friends that you're in love with them. If you feel like you going to end up fancying this person, then go out with them first, because otherwise you going to get too close to them, and become such good friends, and you'll end up like me, in love with your friend, and knowing that they're sat right next to you, and you know you can't have them. ):
