When Did You Realize It was Love?
A year before we started dating, when he was the only thing on my mind.
What Did It Feel Like?
He was 3 grades ahead of me, he was someone I thought I would never talk to or ever be with. Once his dad gave me his number at some restaurant I took the chance to text him for a little bit. That was a year and a half ago and we still talk all day, every day. It didn't take us long to fall for each other.
What Happened Next?
We always made plans to hang out. Eventually he couldn't wait any longer and came to my house in the middle of the night. I was sitting in my bed listening to music, not knowing he was on his way over. Until I got a call from him telling me to open my window. When I did I was so surprised, I knew he really cared for me. We sat there for a few minutes, just talking and laughing, being so happy we finally got to see each other. After a while I couldn't wait any longer. I just leaned in and kissed him. He was just about as surprised as I was, when I pulled back he asked me for another so we kissed again and then once more. I was so surprised to be kissing him because when I was younger I never expected 2 be sitting in my room kissing HIM, he was the mean stoner who used 2 be so mean 2 me on the bus and there I was, kissing him in my room! I fell in love after that. I thought about him every day, I always wanted 2 hang out with him, always wanted to see him. He always told me he liked me. For a whole year he asked me out 5 times. All the times I said no, but then about 6 months ago, once he got his truck, I told him 2 come pick me up so we could talk. I told him that I was in love with him and that I always had been, I told him every little detail. After that I felt so embarrassed. I went 2 get out of the truck but he locked the door. He grabbed my arm, pulled me into him and kissed me. He told me he couldn't wait for this day, for me to tell him how I really felt. We've been dating for 6 months now and I can tell I'm in love, mostly because I lost my virginity to him. Again I am so surprised. When I first met him I didn't expect us 2 be where we are today.
Lessons Learned
- You never know who you could fall in love with. It could be your best friend or even someone who you never talked to, who you thought was completely opposite of you then you realize how much you actually have in common.
- So don't ever walk around thinking "oh I'll never be with him/her, they're a stoner, or they're mean, or we're just completely opposite" because you never know who you'll end up with.
