What Did It Feel Like?
Well, this guy that I seemed to have fallen in love with was my first boyfriend. We've gone to school together since preschool but didn't talk often, just friends. So last summer right before school ended, we went to an amusement park for a class trip and we kinda liked each other then.
What Happened Next?
After that day was our last day of school, then we had summer break. We hung out two days later and that was the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes. We only saw each other a few times in the summer 'cause he and I were pretty busy, but we still lasted. We talked on the phone for hours every night about everything. We were two total different people and always had something to talk about.
When school started again, things were still really good. At this point it was about 4 months that we were dating. He told me he loved me and that I meant the word to him. Around homecoming, one of his ex girlfriends started talking to him again and she already didn't like me 'cause I was going out with "her man." She called me nasty names. My boyfriend told her off and promised me he would never talk to her ever again. So this ex girlfriend layed off for a while, but then started talking to him again and sending him nude pics texts. He told her to stop and she didn't. This was one of the reasons we broke up.
At this point it's 8 months and we are on spring break. We got into our very first fight and I don't even know why we fought. We almost broke up but we said we would see how things went. I always wanted to hang out with him and talk, but he never did anymore. He was to busy with his friends. I asked him if he wanted to hang out that weekend, and he said he didn't want to. I was sick and tired of him being like this so I ended it with him. Now he is back with the ex girlfriend who he promied me he would never talk to again, and it's breakin my heart every day more and more. Even though I dumped him it still hurts inside. He claimed that we took things too fast when he and his new girlfriend mess around all the time and say they love each other after a week of going out.
Lessons Learned
- If you think that you found someone that you really like and love, don't take things too fast. And if your boyfriend/girlfriend thinks you're in love after a week, don't assume they mean it...'cause in the end the relationship is probably not going to work out anyway.
